सांसद ने लिया चीयर्स फाॅर इंडिया रन में भाग, बढ़ाया खिलाड़ियों का हौसला

कोलकाता। दार्जिलिंग के सांसद राजू बिष्ट ने आज कोलकाता में भारतीय जनता युवा मोर्चा की तरफ से आयोजित चीयर्स फाॅर इंडिया रन में भाग लिया। इसका उदेश्य आॅलोम्पिक में भाग ले रहे भारतीय खिलाडियों को उत्साहित करना एवं उन्हें यह बताना है कि पूरा देश उनके साथ खड़ा है और उनकी सफलताओं की कामना कर रहा है। राजू बिष्ट के अलावा राज्य भाजपा अध्यक्ष दिलीप घोष, राज्य भाजयुमो अध्यक्ष सौमित्र खान, भाजपा के राज्य सचिव दीपांजन गुहा, वरिष्ठ भाजपा नेता राहुल सिन्हा, भाजपा के राज्य प्रवक्ता शमिक भट्टाचार्य, भाजयुमो राज्य महासचिव प्रकाश दास आदि ने भाग लिया। श्री बिष्ट ने इस मौके पर कहा कि हमारा उदेश्य आॅलोम्पिक में भाग ले रहे भारतीय खिलाडियों को उत्साहित करना एवं उनकी सफलता की कामना करना है। उन्होंने आज की दौड़ में भाग लेने वाले सभी प्रतिभागियों को शुभकामनाएं भी दी।

Banned for congenital heart condition: Let me play, appeals footballer before Delhi High Court

During the course of proceedings before Justice Navin Chawla the counsel appearing for the AIFF submitted that though Ali was a brilliant player, he cannot be allowed to play since there is a risk to his life. He further submitted that Ali was free to appeal before the AIFF’s Sports Medical Committee.

The counsel appearing for Ali pleaded before the bench that Ali should be allowed to continue with the game till the consideration of the medical committee.

Ali has been diagnosed with hypercardio myopathy, after which the AIFF wrote a letter on September 7 to the Mohammedan Sporting Club directing the Club not to allow Ali to train with the team on account of his health condition.

Mohammedan Sporting start playing in the Indian Super League on October 8 and Ali would have been their mainstay in the defence.

From Disaster To Masterclass: Twitter Is Hailing Tewatia’s Incredible Innings Against KXIP

The Indian Premier League always promises a thriller or the other in the cards. Last night’s match against Rajasthan Royals and Kings XI Punjab was nothing short of that. Thanks to the Rajasthan all-rounder Rahul Tewatia’s stormy batting stint towards the end of the game.

The 28-year-old player was trolled mercilessly in the first innings when Kings XI Punjab reached a mammoth total above 200 runs with Mayank Agarwal hitting a quick century. However, they were silenced in the second innings when Tewatia stepped onto the crease to bat.

At first, he struggled to get the ball on the bat considering he just had 8 runs in 19 balls. By then, it was slowly becoming evident that Punjab might take the game away despite Sanju Samson and Steve Smith’s stellar performances. However, when Sheldon Cottrell came about to bowl, tables were turned when Tewatia hit the balls for five sixes in that over! With around 30 runs in that over, Rajasthan easily cruised towards victory and completing the highest ever run chase in the tournament’s history.
