India Celebrates 72nd Constitution Day Today

Every year on November 26th, India celebrates Constitution Day to commemorate the adoption of the country’s constitution. This day is also known as National Law Day or Samvidhan Divas. The constituent assembly of India adopted the Indian constitution on this day in 1949, which came into effect on November 26, 1950.

The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment announced the decision on November 19, 2015, for the Government of India to commemorate this day as Constitution Day in order to promote constitutional values among Indian citizens. The constitution incorporates features from Britain, Ireland, the United States of America, Canada, Australia, the USSR, France, Germany, South Africa, and Japan.

The constituent assembly of India, which was established under the cabinet mission plan of 1946, drafted India’s constitution. On December 9, 2021, the first meeting for this plan was conducted, and Dr. Sachidanand Sinha was elected as the Assembly’s Provisional President. And on December 11, 1946, Dr. Rajendra Prasad, the first president of India and was also the permanent chairman of the assembly.

Under the chairmanship of Dr. BR Ambedkar, a 13-member committee and a drafting committee were formed to create the constitution. The seven-member drafting committee then created a draft based on the committee reports. With 395 articles, 22 parts, and 12 schedules, our constitution is the world’s longest written constitution. In both Hindi and English, our constitution was handwritten and calligraphic, rather than printed. It was entirely handcrafted by Shantiniketan artists under the supervision of Acharya Nandala Bose, with calligraphy texts created by Prem Behari Narain Raizada in Delhi.

This day is dedicated to commemorating the importance of constitutional ideals among Indian citizens. It was named Constitution Day in 2015 as part of the celebrations commemorating Dr. BR Ambedkar’s 125th birthday. This day is commemorated to raise awareness of the Indian constitution and its primary contributor, Dr. BR Ambedkar.

कश्मीरी पंडितों की समस्याओं के समाधान के लिए पोर्टल लॉन्च

श्रीनगर। लगता है, घाटी एक बार फिर कश्मीरी पंडितों से गुलजार होने वाली है। कश्मीरी पंडितों के पुनर्वास, उनकी समस्याओं के समाधान, और उन्हें न्याय मिले, इसके लिए सरकार पूरी तरह से तत्पर दिख रही हैं। जम्मू कश्मीर में कश्मीरी पंडितों की समस्याओं के समाधान के लिए एक पोर्टल की शुरूआत की गई है पोर्टल से विस्थापित कश्मीरी पंडितों की संपत्ति समेत उनकी समस्याओं को दर्ज किया जाएगा। इस पोर्टल के माध्यम से कश्मीरी पंडित अपनी व्यक्तिगत और सार्वजनिक संपत्तियों से जुड़ी शिकायत दर्ज करा सकेंगे। बाद में प्राथमिकता के आधार पर इन समस्याओं का समाधान किया जाएगा। मंगलवार को जम्मू कश्मीर के उपराज्यपाल मनोज सिन्हा ने पोर्टल को लांच किया। इस मौके पर उन्होंने बताया कि करीब 44000 परिवारों ने इस पोर्टल पर रजिस्ट्रेशन कराया है। इनमें से 40142 हिंदू परिवार है, 2684 मुस्लिम परिवार है और 1730 एक परिवार है। उन्होंने कहा कि इस पोर्टल के लंच लांच होने से तकनीकी रूप से हम प्रवासी कश्मीरियों के बारे में जानकारी हासिल कर सकेंगे। एक डोर टू डोर कैंपेन शुरू होगा, जहां सभी लोगों को जल्द से जल्द पोर्टल से जोड़ा जाएगा। शिकायतकर्ता को एक यूनिक आईडी मिलेगी। बाद में इस आईडी के मध्य से आवेदन को संबंधित जिले में भेज कर उचित कार्रवाई की जाएगी। पोर्टल के माध्यम से शिकायतकर्ता को भी समय समय पर उचित जानकारी मिलेगी।

ज्ञात हो कि केंद्र और राज्य सरकार राज्य में कश्मीरी विस्थापितों की वापसी के लिए प्रयासरत है। हाल ही में उपराज्यपाल मनोज सिन्हा ने घाटी में वापसी करने के इच्छुक कश्मीरी पंडित परिवारों के लिए रजिस्ट्रेशन के लिए दिशानिर्देश जारी किए थे। साथ ही उन्हें प्रोत्साहित भी किया गया था कि वे जल्द से जल्द अपना रजिस्ट्रेशन करें। खबर है कि जून के आखिर तक 98600 कश्मीरी परिवारों को आवास प्रमाण पत्र भी दिया जा चुका है। इसके साथ ही विस्थापित कश्मीरियों के 2340 परिवारों को नए प्रवासी के तौर पर पंजीकृत भी किया गया है। कुल मिलाकर केंद्र सरकार अपने किए गए वादे पर अमल कर रही हैं। जम्मू कश्मीर में विस्थापित कश्मीरी पंडितों के जो अधिकार खो गए थे, वे उन्हें वापस मिले और इसी कड़ी में यह पोर्टल एक और प्रयास है।

आसमान में उड़ान को परिंदे हुवे आजाद

देखने में बहुत ही आकर्षक होते है तोते। आकाश में उड़ते ये आजाद परिंदे बरबस ही लोगों का मन मोह लेते हैं।

दुर्भाग्य की बात यह है की कुछ लोग इन्हें पिंजरे में कैद कर रखते हैं। पिछले कुछ महीनों में उत्तर बंगाल में अचानक तोतों की तस्करी बहुत ज्यादा बढ़ गई है,यह भी चिंता का विषय है। कुछ गिरोह इस क्षेत्र में सक्रिय हैं, जो पता नहीं क्यों इन निरीह पक्षियों की तस्करी में लगे हुए हैं। इसी क्रम में आज वैकुंठपुर फॉरेस्ट डिविजन के सारूगाड़ा रेंज के वनकर्मियों ने दो युवकों को गिरफ्तार करने में सफलता हासिल की, जो तोते की तस्करी कर रहे थे। गुप्त सूत्रों से जानकारी पा फूलबाड़ी कैनल रोड इलाके में वन कर्मियों ने अभियान चलाया और तस्करों के चंगुल से 55 तोतों को रिहा करवाया। जिन लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया गया है, उनके नाम दिनेश दास और सज्जाद आलम है। ये दोनों बिहार के निवासी बताए जा रहे हैं। वन अधिकारियों के अनुसार ये तोते मालबाजार से बिहार तस्करी के मार्ग पर थे लेकिन वन कर्मियों के प्रयासों से इन तोतों को बचा लिया गया। इसी बीच पर्यावरण और वन्यजीव प्रेमियों ने क्षेत्र में तोतों की तस्करी पर चिंता जताई है। ज्ञात हो कि हाल ही में दो-दो बार कोलकाता जोगबनी एक्सप्रेस से रेलवे पुलिस बल ने भारी संख्या में तोतों को तस्करों के चंगुल से बचाया था। जलपाईगुड़ी जिले के गौरूमारा वन विभाग के कर्मियों ने गोरुधोरा इलाके से 60 तोतों को छुड़ाया था। इसके बाद सिलीगुड़ी संगलग्न फूलबाड़ी इलाके से आज 55 तोते बचाए गए हैं। जिन लोगों को मामले में गिरफ्तार किया गया है, उन्हें जलपाईगुड़ी अदालत में पेश किया गया। घटना की जांच शुरू हो गई है। आजाद परिंदे पिंजरे में अच्छे नहीं लगते। जो लोग इनकी तस्करी में लगे हुए हैं उन्हें सजा मिले, यह सब चाहते हैं।

PM Modi: August 14 to be observed as Partition Horrors Remembrance Day

Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his tweet today declared that August 14 will be observed as Partition Horrors Remembrance Day throughout our country every year to commemorate the sorrow and loss faced by the people during partition. “Partition’s pains can never be forgotten. Millions of our sisters and brothers were displaced and many lost their lives due to mindless hate and violence. In memory of the struggles and sacrifices of our people, 14th August will be observed as Partition Horrors Remembrance Day,” tweeted PM Modi. According to him,” Partition Horrors Remembrance Day will not only inspire us to eliminate the poison of discrimination, animosity, and ill-will, but it will also strengthen unity, social harmony, and human sensibilities.” The Prime Minister’s announcement on Partition Horrors Remembrance Day comes a day ahead of India’s 75th Independence Day. Pakistan observes its Independence Day on August 14.

Modi listed in RSF’s ‘Predators of Press Freedom
Reporters Without Borders (RSF) recently released a list of 37 heads of state who have the lowest press freedom under their jurisdiction, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Modi’s “close ties with billionaire businessmen who own vast media empires” have contributed to the dissemination of his nationalist-populist ideology through continual coverage of his “extremely divisive and derogatory” speeches, according to RSF’s entry.
The right to inform and be informed is regarded as a basic human right, and RSF is the world’s largest non-profit organization that works towards media freedom. In their 2021 World Press Freedom Index, India ranks at 142nd out of 180 countries.
Along with Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan, Myanmar’s military head Min Aung Hlaing, and North Korea’s S Leader Kim Jong-un, Modi has been mentioned among the “Predators of Press Freedom.” They have been listed alongside 33 other heads of state who “trample on press freedom by creating a censorship apparatus, jailing journalists arbitrarily, or inciting violence against journalists when they don’t have blood on their hands because they have directly or indirectly pushed for the murder of journalists,” according to RSF.
This list was last updated in 2016, with 17 new entries. There are world leaders on the list that have been on it since it was first published in 2001. Syria’s Bashar al-Assad, Iran’s Ali Khamenei, Russia’s Vladimir Putin, and Belarus’ Alexander Lukashenko were amongst them. Sheikh Hasina of Bangladesh and Carrie Lam of Hong Kong are the only two women on the list.
Modi has been Prime Minister of India since 2014, and according to the entry, he has been “a predator since coming to power.” RSF also mentions journalists who have been targeted by Modi’s hate, such as Gauri Lankesh, a journalist who was shot dead outside her home in 2017 for opposing Hindutva. They also cite Rana Ayyub and Barkha Dutt, who was threatened with gang rape and had their personal information leaked online to aid attacks.

उत्तरपूर्वी दिल्ली में हुई दंगे मामले में छात्र कार्यकर्ताओं को मिली जमानत

दिल्ली हाईकोर्ट ने उत्तरपूर्वी दिल्ली में हुई दंगे मामले में गैरकानूनी गतिविधि रोकथाम अधिनियम (यूएपीए) के तहत दर्ज मामले में छात्र कार्यकर्ताओं नताशा नरवाल, देवांगना कलीता और आसिफ इकबाल तन्हा को जमानत दे दी है।
इंडियन एक्सप्रेस की रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक, जस्टिस सिद्धार्थ मृदुल और जस्टिस एजे भंभानी की पीठ ने जमानत देते हए कहा, ‘हम यह कहने के लिए बाध्य हैं कि असहमति की आवाज को दबाने की जल्दबाजी में सरकार ने विरोध के संवैधानिक अधिकार और आतंकवादी गतिविधियों के अंतर को खत्म-सा कर दिया है। अगर यह मानसिकता जोर पकड़ती है तो यह लोकतंत्र के लिए दुखद दिन होगा।
जेएनयू छात्राओं नताशा नरवाल और देवांगना कलीता और जामिया मिलिया इस्लामिया के छात्र आसिफ इकबाल तन्हा पर उत्तर पूर्वी दिल्ली में फरवरी 2020 में हुए सांप्रदायिक हिंसा के लिए साजिश रचने का आरोप लगाया है। तीनों को मई 2020 में यूएपीए के तहत गिरफ्तार किया गया था।

मशहूर डायरेक्टर और कवि बुद्धदेव दासगुप्ता का निधन


बंगाली फिल्मों के मशहूर डायरेक्टर और कवि बुद्धदेव दासगुप्ता का निधन हो गया है। वह 77 साल के थे। वह काफी समय से किडनी की बीमारी से जूझ रहे थे और डायलिसिस पर थे। उनके निधन से बंगाली फिल्म इंडस्ट्री को गहरा झटका लगा है। पश्चिम बंगाल की मुख्यमंत्री ममता बनर्जी ने भी ट्वीट करते हुए शोक व्यक्त किया है। ममता बनर्जी ने बुद्धदेव दासगुप्ता के निधन को अपूरणीय क्षति बताया है। फिल्ममेकर के निधन पर संवेदनाएं जाहिर करते हुए उन्होंने कहा कि प्रख्यात फिल्म निर्माता बुद्धदेव दासगुप्ता के निधन के बारे में जानकर दुख हुआ। उनका निधन फिल्म जगत के लिए अपूरणीय क्षति है।
बुद्धदेव दासगुप्ता ने 5 बार अपनी फिल्मों के लिए नैशनल अवॉर्ड जीता है। उन्होंने कई बेहतरीन फिल्में बनाईंए जिनमें बाघ बहादुर, लाल दरजा, काल पुरुष और चराचर के अलावा उनकी ताहेदेर कोथा, निम अन्नपूर्णा, गृहयुद्ध और फेरा जैसी फिल्मों ने दर्शकों के दिल और दिमाग पर गहरी छाप छोड़ी।
बुद्धदेव दासगुप्ता एक मशहूर कवि भी थे। उन्होंने ने स्कॉटिश चर्च कॉलेज से ग्रेजुएशन की डिग्री ली थी। वह सिटी कॉलेज में बच्चों को पढ़ाते भी थे और खाली समय में फिल्में बनाते थे। फीचर फिल्मों से पहले वह डॉक्यूमेंट्री फिल्मों से शुरुआत की थी। उनकी कई डॉक्यूमेंट्रीज को इंटरनैशनल अवॉर्ड भी मिले हैं। दरअसल उनका निधन निश्चित रूप से फिल्म जगत के लिए एक क्षति है। जिसकी भरपाई कभी नहीं होगी।
