खोरीबाड़ी। गुप्त सूचना के आधार पर एसएसबी 41वीं वाहिनी के पानीटंकी व कदोमनी जोत के जवानों ने संयुक्त अभियान में ब्राउन शुगर के साथ एक युवक को गिरफ्तार किया है ।

गिरफ्तार युवक का नाम बिट्टू घोष बताया गया । आवश्यक कार्यवाई पश्चात गिरफ्तार युवक के साथ जब्त ब्राउन शुगर खोरीबाड़ी थाना को सौंप दिया । एसएसबी से मिली जानकारी अनुसार गुप्त सूचना के आधार पर खोरीबाड़ी पीडब्लूडी के पास संदिग्ध एक युवक को रोककर चेक किया गया । चेकिंग के दौरान उक्त व्यक्ति के पास से 50 ग्राम ब्राउन शुगर बरामद किया गया । एसएसबी द्वारा आवश्यक कार्यवाई पश्चात जब्त ब्राउन शुगर व गिरफ्तार व्यक्ति को खोरीबाड़ी थाना को सौंप दिया ।

इस्लामपुर। इस्लामपुर थाने के श्री कृष्ण पूरे इलाके में राजमार्ग 31 पर घटी एक दुर्घटना में एक महिला कांस्टेबल जख्मी हो गई।

कांस्टेबल का नाम मालती राय है और वह चोपड़ा थाने में कार्यरत थी। मालती राय जलपाईगुड़ी जिले के निवासी है।

दुर्घटना के बाद जख्मी महिला को इस्लामपुर अस्पताल में चिकित्सा के लिए भर्ती कराया गया, लेकिन हालत गंभीर होने के कारण उन्हें उत्तरबंग मेडिकल कॉलेज रेफर किया गया है। बताया गया है कि जिस वक्त यह घटना घटी, उस वक्त महिला कॉन्स्टेबल ड्यूटी पर थी। इस संबंध में विस्तृत ब्यौरे की प्रतीक्षा है।

”Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release a special commemorative coin of ₹125 and will also address the gathering on the occasion of the 125th birth anniversary of Srila Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada Ji on 1st September 2021 at 4:30 pm via video conferencing,” a statement from PM Modi’s office informed.
G Kishan Reddy, the Union Minister of Culture, will also be present on the occasion.
Swami, who was born in 1896, wrote numerous books and founded temples. He obtained a chemistry degree from Scottish Church College in Calcutta, married, had children, and founded a pharmaceutical company, which he sold in 1959 to become a monk.
He then relocated to the United States, where he spread Vedic literature. He is thought to have founded around 100 Ashrams, Gurukuls, temples, and farmhouses in several Western nations. In 1968, he founded New Vrindaban Temple in West Virginia, United States.
Swami died at the age of 82 in Vrindavan, Uttar Pradesh, after a six-month illness.

As of August, C.1.2 has been detected in China, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Mauritius, England, New Zealand, Portugal, and Switzerland.C.1.2 has changed significantly compared to C.1, one of the lineages that dominated SARS-CoV-2 infections in the initial wave in South Africa, according to a study published on the online site MedRxiv on August 24.
According to the researchers, the new variation contains more mutations than previous variants of concern (VOCs) or variants of interest (VOIs) discovered thus far throughout the world. They speculated that the number of accessible C.1.2 sequences may be an underestimation of the variant’s spread and frequency in South Africa and throughout the world. The number of C.1.2 genomes sequenced in South Africa increased month after month, going from 0.2 percent in May to 1.6 percent in June, and then to 2 percent in July, according to the research.

An 8-year-old girl has made it to the ‘India Book of Records for being awarded 145 certificates for participating in various online and offline competitions. Trapa Choudhury from Guwahati was awarded certificates for taking part in various state, national and international level competitions.
She has been bringing laurels to her family since she was 4 years old. Trapa is the daughter of Dr. Manoshi Das, Anthropologist, and Dr. Jayanta Choudhury, Associate Professor, NIRDPR-NERC, Guwahati.
Between 2017 and 2021, the child prodigy participated in Drawing and Painting, Craft Making, Poem Writing, Story, Abacus, Chess, Dancing, Singing, Recitation, Olympiads, as well as a Fashion Show, all in different languages.
She can speak, read and write in 5 different languages, namely, Bengali, Hindi, English, Assamese, and Sanskrit. The whizz-kid has taken up an interest in various forms of art and cultural creation.
She was also designated a “Global Child Peace Ambassador” by Global Peace Let’s Talk (a London, UK-based international NGO) in order to promote peace among children throughout the world, and she was chosen to participate in the Global Peace Institute’s online Global Kids Peace Builder Workshop.
She was recently named ‘Child Ambassador of SDG’ by the Vasundhara Blessing Foundation in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, in addition to her other accomplishments.
