An 8-year-old girl has made it to the ‘India Book of Records for being awarded 145 certificates for participating in various online and offline competitions. Trapa Choudhury from Guwahati was awarded certificates for taking part in various state, national and international level competitions.
She has been bringing laurels to her family since she was 4 years old. Trapa is the daughter of Dr. Manoshi Das, Anthropologist, and Dr. Jayanta Choudhury, Associate Professor, NIRDPR-NERC, Guwahati.
Between 2017 and 2021, the child prodigy participated in Drawing and Painting, Craft Making, Poem Writing, Story, Abacus, Chess, Dancing, Singing, Recitation, Olympiads, as well as a Fashion Show, all in different languages.
She can speak, read and write in 5 different languages, namely, Bengali, Hindi, English, Assamese, and Sanskrit. The whizz-kid has taken up an interest in various forms of art and cultural creation.
She was also designated a “Global Child Peace Ambassador” by Global Peace Let’s Talk (a London, UK-based international NGO) in order to promote peace among children throughout the world, and she was chosen to participate in the Global Peace Institute’s online Global Kids Peace Builder Workshop.
She was recently named ‘Child Ambassador of SDG’ by the Vasundhara Blessing Foundation in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, in addition to her other accomplishments.

Every year on August 26th, International Dog Day is observed throughout the globe. The day is celebrated to honor all dogs, regardless of breed, size, or shape. It is also observed to encourage people to adopt dogs rather than purchase them from pet stores.

Paige’s family adopted their first dog, a Sheltie, when he was ten years old, on August 26th.
Colleen Paige is also the founder of many such days like National Puppy Day, National Mutt Day, National Cat Day, and National Wildlife Day.
International Dog day is celebrated every year to raise awareness about the problems faced by dogs all around the world. Many dogs need to be rescued because people do not take appropriate care of them. Some are abused and some are even brutally killed. Also, the aim of International Dog day is to encourage people to take better care of their furry friends as they deserve a better life.

कोलकाता। बंगाल में चुनाव बाद हुई हिंसा मामले में कोलकाता हाईकोर्ट ने राय दे दी है कि इस मामले में हत्या और बलात्कार जैसी घटनाओं की जांच सीबीआई से कराई जाए। पांच न्यायाधीशों के वृहत्तर बेंच ने इस मामले में फैसला सुनाया। फैसले में कहा गया कि दूसरे मामलों की जांच एसआईटी करेगी। भारतीय जनता पार्टी और मार्क्सवादी कम्युनिस्ट पार्टी ने जहां इस फैसले का स्वागत किया हैं, वहीं तृणमूल कांग्रेस इस फैसले से संतुष्ट नहीं है। भाजपा के राज्य अध्यक्ष दिलीप घोष ने कहा कि राज्य में पिछले विधानसभा चुनाव के बाद जो कुछ भी हुआ, वह लज्जाजनक है जिन लोगों पर अत्याचार हुआ, इस फैसले से उन्हें न्याय मिलेगा। फैसले पर टिप्पणी करते हुए माकपा के पोलित ब्यूरो सदस्य हन्नान मौला ने कहा कि हम कोर्ट के फैसले का स्वागत करते हैं तृणमूल के जमाने में हमारे भी 778 नेताओं कार्यकर्ताओं की हत्या की गई। करीब 1एक लाख तीस हजार लोग बेघर हुवे। राज्य में कानून का नहीं, बल्कि दल का शासन चल रहा है और देशवासियों को यह जानना जरूरी है। उधर तृणमूल की तरफ से इस फैसले को संविधान विरोधी बताया गया है। समझा जा रहा है कि राज्य सरकार फैसले के विरुद्ध सुप्रीम कोर्ट में गुहार लगा सकती हैं।

कोलकाता। लोकसभा चुनाव 2024 के मद्देनजर विपक्ष एकजुट होता दिख रहा है। कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष सोनिया गांधी दे 20 अगस्त को वर्चुअल प्लेटफार्म पर एक अहम बैठक बुलाई है। इस बैठक में समान विचारधारा वाली पार्टी के नेताओं को आमंत्रित किया गया है। खबर है कि पश्चिम बंगाल की मुख्यमंत्री ममता बनर्जी भी इस बैठक में भाग लेगी। बैठक में झारखंड के मुख्यमंत्री हेमंत सोरेन, तमिलनाडु के मुख्यमंत्री एम के स्टालिन, महाराष्ट्र के मुख्यमंत्री उद्धव ठाकरे के आलावा वाम मोर्चा के कुछ नेताओं को भी आमंत्रित किया गया है। राजनीतिक हलकों में इस बैठक को संयुक्त मोर्चा की तैयारी की बैठक के रूप में देखा जा रहा है। संसद के मानसून सत्र में विपक्ष अपनी एकजुटता दिखा चुका है। कई मुद्दों पर सदन में चर्चा नहीं हुई, जिसके विरोध में संसद से लेकर विजय चौक तक मार्च भी निकाला गया था। अब फिर से विपक्ष एक बैठक में संगठित होकर भारतीय जनता पार्टी खिलाफ मोर्चाबंदी के लिए एकजुट होता दिख रहा है।

उधर तृणमूल कांग्रेस भी लगातार भाजपा के खिलाफ विरोधी पार्टियों को एकजुट करने में जुटी हुई है। राज्य में विधानसभा चुनाव के बाद मुख्यमंत्री ममता बनर्जी दिल्ली गई थी और उन्होंने कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष सोनिया गांधी से मुलाकात भी की थी। इस मुलाकात में दोनों नेताओं के बीच एक साथ मिलकर काम करने की सहमति भी हुई थी।
