Congress leader Netta D’Souza confronts Smriti Irani over rising fuel prices
All India Mahila Congress acting president Netta D’Souza confronted Union women and child development minister Smriti Irani when the two came face-to-face on a flight to Guwahati on Sunday. D’Souza fired questions on fuel price rise at Smriti Irani.

Sharing a video of her conversation with Smriti Irani on Twitter, Mahila Congress president Netta D’Souza said, “Encountered @smritiirani ji on a flight to Guwahati. Hear their answers on the ever-increasing prices of LPG. The cost of inflation, on what things are they bursting! Public asked questions, please avoid memory! The video shows D’Souza confronting Irani with questions on the fuel rise, while Irani tries to avoid her saying she was “blocking the way” and has to get down.
D’Souza later said, “Happy Bihu without stoves, without gas, with increased rates.” And Irani responded with, “Ma’am please don’t lie… Ma’am, you are misappropriating.”
