Congress MP Shashi Tharoor Takes A Dig At BJP On Their 42nd Foundation Day
On Wednesday Congress MP Shashi Tharoor wished Bharatiya Janata Party on its 42nd Foundation Day on Twitter and posted a screenshot of the first page of their Constitution.
While wishing BJP on their Foundation day he also took a dig at them and asked them to start living up to their own Constitution. He further accused them of not believing or practicing anything on the first page and asked them if the document is one of their “fabled jumlas”.
“Happy birthday BJP! You turn 42 today. Isn’t it time to start living up to your own Constitution? There seems to be nothing on its first page that you actually believe in or practice…. Or was even this document one of your fabled jumlas?” tweeted MP Shashi Tharoor.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a dig at the opposition parties while addressing the party’s workers, MPs and MLAs on the occasion of its 42nd foundation day and said that the BJP is dedicated to “rashtra bhakti” while the opposition stand for “parivar bhakti”.
“Two kinds of politics are going on now – one is parivar bhakti, other one is rashtra bhakti. There are some political parties in different states that work only for interests of their respective parivar,” said PM Modi.
