President Kovind, PM Modi greets people on Utkala Dibasa

On Friday Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his greetings on the occasion of Utkala Dibasa to the people of Odisha and said that Odia people are making landmark contributions to India’s progress and Odia culture is admired globally.

“On the special occasion of Utkala Dibasa, best wishes to the people of Odisha. Odia people are making landmark contributions to India’s progress and Odia culture is globally admired. I pray for Odisha’s development in the times to come,” tweeted Modi.

President Ram Nath Kovind also greeted the people of Odisha on the occasion of Odisha day.

“On Odisha Day, my greetings to the people of the state. The land of the temples of Jagannath, Lingaraj, Konark and other rich heritages, Odisha gave the world a message of peace and love, shunning violence. My best wishes for the progress of the state,” tweeted President Kovind.

Home Minister Amit Shah also greeted the people of Odisha in Twitter and said, “Greetings to the people of Odisha on #UtkalDibasa. The land of Mahaprabhu Jagannath is blessed with vibrant culture, stunning architecture and glorious history. May this beautiful state continue to prosper in the years to come.”
