Sambit Patra questions Mamata Banerjee on the massacre in Birbhum
BJP National Spokesperson Dr. Sambit Patra on Thursday addressed a press conference at BJP headquarters.
He made some serious allegations against the ruling party TMC and Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee regarding the massacre in Birbhum, West Bengal.
Spokesperson of BJP Sambit Patra said, “Till date, the workers of Mamata Banerjee ji have killed about 200 BJP workers.”
He said that the killings that took place in Birbhum are a matter of concern for the whole of India.
“The killings that took place in Birbhum, Bengal, shook the whole of India. The way 6 women and 2 children were burnt alive in Bengal, it is a matter of concern for the whole of India,” said Sambit Patra.
He alleged that 26 political murders took place in Bengal, in the last week which could’ve been stopped by Mamata Banerjee but she didn’t.
Sambit Patra said, “In the last week, 26 political murders took place in Bengal. Mamata Banerjee should have stopped them, but she didn’t.”
He further added, “In Birbhum, where the brutal killings took place, the women of the place were saying that the police were absent after the incident.”
Meanwhile, the Bengal governor Jagdeep Dhankar also called out the ruling party TMC for its ‘Governance’. He said, “This is a shameful event and an indelible scar on Governance. The burning of people alive in a democracy in this manner is very painful. I appeal to the govt to learn the lessons rather than offering defence”.
